STAN'S RACE TYRE SEALANT - QUART (946ML)

"Simply put, this is the most effective sealant ... It plugged holes made by a 6mm-diameter screwdriver with minimal fuss, only losing 5 psi from the starting pressure of 30 psi, and holding 30 psi after sealing."
- Bike Radar
We spent nearly fifteen years working closely with some of cycling's most successful athletes to formulate the ultimate high-performance tyre sealant. Pushing tubeless systems to the absolute limit year after year on the world stage has given us the opportunity to refine and tweak our formula over countless iterations. The result is an exceptionally powerful sealant that has unrivalled reliability when the stakes are high, and everything is on the line.
Our proprietary Race Sealant formula has close to twice the amount of our regular sealing crystals, plus our special XL crystals, which are capable of sealing even larger punctures. Stan's Race Sealant's combination of large and small sealing crystals interlock to form a lattice that not only seals but strengthens and reinforces the area of the puncture, realising an entirely new level of sealing performance. Our latest revised formula resists balling and clumping under even the most extreme conditions, ensuring maximum performance when you need it most.
JUST SHAKE AND POUR
Even more powerful crystals: The new formula is so thick that you can hear the particles just by shaking the bottle. That means even more flat-stopping performance.
The quantity and size of crystals in this special formula mean that Stan's Race Sealant can only be installed directly into the tyre. As a result of its immense sealing capabilities, Race Sealant is not compatible with injector or other valve installation methods, as it will instantly plug syringes and valve stems.
Just shake and pour - While the new formula is too thick to inject through valve stems, you no longer need to completely invert the bottle when pouring it, because the latest crystals are capable of floating.
Race sealant is a high-performance product that should be inspected every three weeks for best performance. A quick shake of the tyre will help you know where things are at - if you can hear it sloshing around, you should be good for a while yet. How long an application will last will depend on factors such as tyre choice and the environment you live in, although Race Sealant is able to last for months following installation under many conditions.
Be sure to rinse Race Sealant out of used tyres intended to be stored/reinstalled.
ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE IN ROAD AND GRAVEL APPLICATIONS
Race Sealant's instant sealing power and high strength make it the best choice for road/gravel applications, where the higher inflation pressures often overwhelm other types of sealant.
COMPATIBLE WITH REGULAR STAN'S SEALANT
Race Sealant can be mixed with regular Stan's Sealant in whatever ratios you like.
Need to top up a tyre that's set up with Race Sealant? You can quickly inject regular Stan's through your valve stem to keep your tubeless system up and running.

Rural Delivery
If your shipping address is classified as a "rural delivery" (RD) address you are required to select the rural delivery shipping option at checkout. Please note that if your address is rural delivery and the incorrect shipping option is selected, your order will not ship until the additional fee for rural delivery has been received. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the appropriate delivery option is selected to avoid any delays to an order. If you are unsure whether your address is classified as a rural delivery address, please check with your local postal service or contact us for assistance.
SHIPPING BIKES:
We do ship bikes! Every bike that is sold is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is at it's best operational order when it reaches you. If your bike needs to be freighted to you, it will then be boxed with factory-level care and precision to ensure minimal risk and assembly when it arrives.
All bikes that are shipped will be partially disassembled to fit within courier size constraints. We always endeavour to reduce the complexity and amount of re-assembly possible; however, we always recommend you have the bike reassembled or inspected by a qualified bicycle mechanic before riding.
DELIVERY FAQ'S
How long does delivery typically take?
Delivery times are generally 3-5 working days on average; however, please allow an extra 1-2 working days for Rural delivery. Note that this is not a guarantee, but an observational quote based on typical delivery times. We often see faster delivery, and rarely see longer wait times unless:
- You have ordered a bike. Every bike that we sell and ship in a box is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is it's best operational order when it reaches you. Please allow for an additional 2-3 working days while this takes place. In the case of an e-Bike, please allow for a further working day as we organise Dangerous Goods shippment.
- Your order is a custom order (not-in-stock or standard stocked items) that has to be specifically ordered from suppliers - we will do our best to communicate any potential delays.
- If your order requires customisation or additional labour (eg. customising handle bars, changing of parts on a bike, etc.)
- During peak seasons or public holidays, delivery times can be extended due to courier demand and delay.
- Please note that there may be delays in receiving your online order from 24th December until the 11th of January, due to limited courier runs.
What if there is a delay extending beyond the quoted time?
Please be aware that our control is limited once it has been handed to the courier. Once you get a tracking number, the job is booked with the courier and it is in their hands, not ours, so please be aware of the following:
- Couriers have their own specified policy regarding time frames, delays, damage and logging inquiries for lost goods.
- If goods are damaged in transit, the issue needs to be logged directly with the courier company.
Based on this, we always recommend calling the courier company first as sometimes it can be as simple as a lost courier card and the package being at your local depot. All these details will be in the tracking information emailed to you when your order was dispatched. By directly contacting the people handling your order, it reduces the chain of communication so all your questions can find answers in a faster and more accurate fashion.
If you are still having trouble or have any additional questions, feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to help.
