Workshop & Service Prices

Here at Rouleur Cycles, we believe a superior workshop is a cornerstone to any successful bike shop. Our highest priority is to look after your bike like it is one of our own. All our staff here at Rouleur Cycles love nothing more than getting out there and riding our bikes and because of this, we understand the importance of having a bike that works well. No one wants to go out on a bike that doesn’t shift gears and brakes that don’t work!

Our expert workshop team are highly trained in bike

repairs and we’re constantly up-skilling and keeping up to date with the latest components on offer. We undertake as much servicing in-house as possible including suspension and dropper post servicing to get you back on your bike as soon as possible.

Rouleur Cycles has a full workshop and often carry out work on electronic groupsets (Campagnolo EPS, Shimano Di2, SRAM Etap), suspension, dropper posts, mechanical groupsets, road and mountain bike disc brakes, wheel building, tapping/facing/reaming frames and more. At Rouleur Cycles we’ll repair any bike you bring in whether it be a 16” Kids bike or a $10,000 top-spec race bike.

MINIMUM TURN-AROUND TIME FOR BIKE REPAIRS

As passionate cyclists, we know how frustrating it can be waiting weeks for your bike to be serviced or repaired and as such we do our very best to keep our turn-around time as low as possible. We aim to have your bike repaired/serviced and ready to go in 4 days maximum during our peak season and often times in winter can offer next day turn-around and same day for small jobs. If you book via phone or send us an email or Facebook message we can book your bike in on a set date. This means you can ride your bike up until the day before the service and drop it in the evening before the booking date or first thing morning of and get your bike back that day*.

COMMUNICATION DURING THE PROCESS

In this industry, communication is key so we do all we can to keep you informed with the status of your bike. If we find an issue with your bike we’ll contact you before we do anything so when you come in to collect your bike there aren’t any nasty surprises. Once your bike is repaired/serviced we email through an invoice and get in touch via phone, email, text, or Facebook Messenger to let you know your bike is complete.

TOP QUALITY PRODUCTS AND TOOLS FOR REPAIRS

We only use top quality products in our workshop. We have a range of greases and lubes ranging from thin low friction greases to ensure maximum efficiency and super low resistance to fully waterproof greases perfect for winter and mountain bikes to keep your bearings protected and spinning smoother for longer. Dependent on the time of year and the type of riding you do dictates the type of lube we use on your bike. Rouleur Cycles only use the best stainless steel inner cables to ensure maximum cable life and to keep your gears shifting smoothly and your brake levers feeling frictionless allowing for maximum control and modulation.

We’ve taken the same approach with tools. While Park Tool dominates most bike workshops and for good reason too, we know there are companies out there that make certain tools better. We have sourced many of our tools from overseas to ensure we have the best possible tooling and are firm believers that if you’re going to do a job it should be done with the best tools available. Our favourite tools right now include our Beta 951 hex key set, our Abbey Tools Dual-Sided Crombie Tool and Chain Whip, and our DT Swiss Nipple Keys and Bladed Spoke holders.

GET YOUR BIKE PERSONALIZED

Many riders have personal preferences when it comes to components and bike setup. We’re more than happy to modify your existing bike to your preferences. Rouleur Cycles has full access to a wide range of component brands including Fox, Rockshox, SRAM, Campagnolo, Shimano, Zipp, Fizik, 3T, Renthal, Spank, Fulcrum, Reynolds, Rotor, Crank Brothers and many more. We also carry out a wide range of custom builds ranging from steel commuter bikes through to all-mountain bikes through to TT and triathlon rigs.

If you want the best service possible, bring your bike into Rouleur Cycles, we treat all bikes like they’re our own and want your bike running smoothly so you can perform at your very best!

*This is assuming we don’t need to order any parts in. If parts are needed, please allow 1-3 business days. You’re more than welcome to bring your bike in for a pre-service inspection any time up to 2 business days before your service and we’ll be able to check your components for wear and see if you need any parts. This way we can have them waiting for your bike and ensure you get same day service. The pre-service inspection will take 10 minutes and you’re more than welcome to stop in mid-ride.

Our service rates are competitive, and we aim to get you back on the road as soon as we possibly can.  We itemise small repairs and labour costs individually, so you can see exactly what we have done, with no nasty surprises!  Our workshop only uses experienced, skilled fitting mechanics, so you can rest assured your bike is in the best hands.
