SOLID C 160 (Cacao flavour).
Solid 160 is the result of Maurten’s ongoing process of athete-led improvement. We took onboard the feedback, reevaluated, and made performance-oriented changes.
Solid 160 brings the bar in line with the other Maurten 160 fueling options,
matching the 40 grams of carbohydrates that athletes can consume using
Gel 160 and Drink Mix 160.
Whichever fuel mode you choose, measuring your energy is simple.
A Solid wrapper now encapsulates 2 mini-bars — 20 grams of carbohydrates in each. Eat it all or save half for later.
Solid 160 is narrower, longer, and split into two fueling portions. The
shape is more performance-oriented and fits better in the hand or pocket
Both Solid 160 and Solid C 160 have undergone packaging redesigns and
are now clearly differentiated.
Solid 160 is less compacted, improving both the texture profile and ease
of consumption, especially during exercise. Easier to chew — easier to
fuel
Here’s something to chew on.
The majority of “energy” bars are made to have snack-appeal. SOLID, on the other hand, is built for fueling both performance and recovery. They are worlds apart — one is aimed at the top supermarket shelf, the other at the top of the podium.
However, almost all the athletes that tested SOLID have remarked on the pleasant oat-and-rice-based texture and natural taste. Which — along with a minimal ingredient list that delivers high-carb, low-fiber fueling — is a winning combination.
USPs – Complements Hydrogel
A solid complement to your Hydrogel fueling
SOLID is not a replacement to training and racing on Hydrogel — it’s a complement to it.
For marathon runners, SOLID is a perfect post-session or post-race recovery snack to replace carbohydrates. It also works as a pre-race meal alternative.
For cyclists, SOLID is a great fuel option for low-to-medium intensity rides and as a before and after snack.
For Ultra runners, the standard nutrition advice is to eat something solid every 4 hours. SOLID’s salt content is also an advantage in replacing sodium levels during long training sessions and races.
For triathletes, SOLID is an ideal between-session fuel as well as a post-session or post- race recovery snack to replace carbohydrates.
It’s said that great achievements are built on solid foundations — we couldn’t agree more.

Rural Delivery
If your shipping address is classified as a "rural delivery" (RD) address you are required to select the rural delivery shipping option at checkout. Please note that if your address is rural delivery and the incorrect shipping option is selected, your order will not ship until the additional fee for rural delivery has been received. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the appropriate delivery option is selected to avoid any delays to an order. If you are unsure whether your address is classified as a rural delivery address, please check with your local postal service or contact us for assistance.
SHIPPING BIKES:
We do ship bikes! Every bike that is sold is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is at it's best operational order when it reaches you. If your bike needs to be freighted to you, it will then be boxed with factory-level care and precision to ensure minimal risk and assembly when it arrives.
All bikes that are shipped will be partially disassembled to fit within courier size constraints. We always endeavour to reduce the complexity and amount of re-assembly possible; however, we always recommend you have the bike reassembled or inspected by a qualified bicycle mechanic before riding.
DELIVERY FAQ'S
How long does delivery typically take?
Delivery times are generally 3-5 working days on average; however, please allow an extra 1-2 working days for Rural delivery. Note that this is not a guarantee, but an observational quote based on typical delivery times. We often see faster delivery, and rarely see longer wait times unless:
- You have ordered a bike. Every bike that we sell and ship in a box is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is it's best operational order when it reaches you. Please allow for an additional 2-3 working days while this takes place. In the case of an e-Bike, please allow for a further working day as we organise Dangerous Goods shippment.
- Your order is a custom order (not-in-stock or standard stocked items) that has to be specifically ordered from suppliers - we will do our best to communicate any potential delays.
- If your order requires customisation or additional labour (eg. customising handle bars, changing of parts on a bike, etc.)
- During peak seasons or public holidays, delivery times can be extended due to courier demand and delay.
- Please note that there may be delays in receiving your online order from 24th December until the 11th of January, due to limited courier runs.
What if there is a delay extending beyond the quoted time?
Please be aware that our control is limited once it has been handed to the courier. Once you get a tracking number, the job is booked with the courier and it is in their hands, not ours, so please be aware of the following:
- Couriers have their own specified policy regarding time frames, delays, damage and logging inquiries for lost goods.
- If goods are damaged in transit, the issue needs to be logged directly with the courier company.
Based on this, we always recommend calling the courier company first as sometimes it can be as simple as a lost courier card and the package being at your local depot. All these details will be in the tracking information emailed to you when your order was dispatched. By directly contacting the people handling your order, it reduces the chain of communication so all your questions can find answers in a faster and more accurate fashion.
If you are still having trouble or have any additional questions, feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to help.
Can you ship to my PO Box?
