The Lithic Mountain Fork is a lightweight, versatile carbon option for mountain bikes. It is compatible with 100 and 110mm hubs, it has native options for post and flat mount brakes, and it has an adjustable offset of 7.5mm. Four different dropout options are available based on brake mount type and hub width. Best of all, when the flip chip is used to adjust the offset, disc brakes won’t also need to be adjusted because they are mounted on the same piece of machined aluminum that sets axle positioning.

The Lithic Mountain Fork has three-pack mounts on either side and clearance for 29” x 3.0” tires. External brake routing makes it easy to swap between this fork and a suspension fork. This is a best-in-class option for bikepacking and riding trails alike.
NATIVE BRAKE OPTIONS FOR POST OR FLAT MOUNT
The swappable machined dropouts allow this fork to be native for post mount or flat mount. Add the fork to a drop bar bike with flat mount brakes or to a mountain bike with post mount brakes. Best of all, when the flip chip is changed to alter offset, the brakes won’t need to be adjusted because they are mounted to the same machined aluminum dropout.

ADJUSTABLE OFFSET
A machined aluminum flip chip in the dropout adjusts offset by 7.5mm. A fork’s offset – aka rake – contributes to a bike’s handling. With the flip chip in the front position, the 51.5mm offset makes for agile handling. In the rear position, the 44mm offset creates a more stable ride.

THREE-PACK MOUNTS
Both arms of the fork have three-pack mounts for carrying extra gear. Attach a cargo cage via the three bolt holes to haul bags, bottles, burritos, and more for bikepacking and self-supported rides. Weight limit is 2.5 kg per side.
SUSPENSION CORRECTION
The axle-to-crown is 498mm with the flip chip in the 51.5mm offset (front) position and 495mm with the flip chip in the 44mm offset (rear) position. The fork is optimal for bikes with geometry designed around a 100 - 140mm suspension fork – optimized for 120mm travel.

Rural Delivery

If your shipping address is classified as a "rural delivery" (RD) address you are required to select the rural delivery shipping option at checkout. Please note that if your address is rural delivery and the incorrect shipping option is selected, your order will not ship until the additional fee for rural delivery has been received. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the appropriate delivery option is selected to avoid any delays to an order. If you are unsure whether your address is classified as a rural delivery address, please check with your local postal service or contact us for assistance.

SHIPPING BIKES:

We do ship bikes! Every bike that is sold is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is at it's best operational order when it reaches you. If your bike needs to be freighted to you, it will then be boxed with factory-level care and precision to ensure minimal risk and assembly when it arrives.

All bikes that are shipped will be partially disassembled to fit within courier size constraints. We always endeavour to reduce the complexity and amount of re-assembly possible; however, we always recommend you have the bike reassembled or inspected by a qualified bicycle mechanic before riding.

DELIVERY FAQ'S

How long does delivery typically take?
Delivery times are generally 3-5 working days on average; however, please allow an extra 1-2 working days for Rural delivery. Note that this is not a guarantee, but an observational quote based on typical delivery times. We often see faster delivery, and rarely see longer wait times unless:

  • You have ordered a bike. Every bike that we sell and ship in a box is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is it's best operational order when it reaches you. Please allow for an additional 2-3 working days while this takes place. In the case of an e-Bike, please allow for a further working day as we organise Dangerous Goods shippment.
  • Your order is a custom order (not-in-stock or standard stocked items) that has to be specifically ordered from suppliers - we will do our best to communicate any potential delays.
  • If your order requires customisation or additional labour (eg. customising handle bars, changing of parts on a bike, etc.)
  • During peak seasons or public holidays, delivery times can be extended due to courier demand and delay.
  • Please note that there may be delays in receiving your online order from 24th December until the 11th of January, due to limited courier runs.

What if there is a delay extending beyond the quoted time?

Please be aware that our control is limited once it has been handed to the courier. Once you get a tracking number, the job is booked with the courier and it is in their hands, not ours, so please be aware of the following:

  • Couriers have their own specified policy regarding time frames, delays, damage and logging inquiries for lost goods.
  • If goods are damaged in transit, the issue needs to be logged directly with the courier company.

Based on this, we always recommend calling the courier company first as sometimes it can be as simple as a lost courier card and the package being at your local depot. All these details will be in the tracking information emailed to you when your order was dispatched.  By directly contacting the people handling your order, it reduces the chain of communication so all your questions can find answers in a faster and more accurate fashion.

If you are still having trouble or have any additional questions, feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to help.
