The Flow MK4 wheelset lets you do more. Since 2007, there's a reason the best riders in the world have come to us to ask for Flows. Corner harder, send it further, and carry more speed through any section of trail. Today's Flow MK4 gives you the control you need to push boundaries.
The Flow MK4 rim's patented BST Asymmetric shape creates the most reliable tubeless seal. The rim's durable 6069 alloy construction and reinforced spoke bed, combined with the offset drilling of the asym design, builds into an incredibly durable wheel that brings added confidence to every ride. Strength and serviceability are long-standing priorities of every Stan’s wheel, and the Flow MK4 wheel takes those priorities further than ever before.
The asym rim design allows for a single spoke length to be used on both the front and rear wheels. As with all Stan’s wheels, traditional J-bend spokes and lacing are used for their proven strength, ride quality, and serviceability. Available with Shimano Micro Spline, HG, or SRAM XDR freehubs, with options to fit all popular axle configurations. Tubeless ready with rim tape installed.
Wide, light, strong, and tubeless, the original Flow redefined what a mountain bike rim could do.Today's Flow MK4 wheelset gives you the confidence to do even more.
M-PULSE HUBS
The M-pulse hubs at the heart of Flow MK4 wheels combine an absolutely bombproof magnetic locking engagement with incredibly smooth rolling. Based on the original innovative Project321 engagement system, the speed and durability of this system is unmatched. Unlike weaker pawl and spring designs, the M-pulse features six pawls with Neodymium magnets that offer virtually no resistance when coasting, but lock the pawl teeth into place far more reliably and consistently than springs.
Each detail of the M-pulse hub was engineered to systematically eliminate weaknesses found in other designs. The 17mm axles are made of 7075 aluminum and roll on Enduro brand bearings, including a double-row freehub bearing tested to be far more durable than two individual separate bearings. The entire hub is also shielded, meaning no bearing seal is visible, offering superior protection for all conditions.
With only 1.66°of rotating required for the M-pulse hub to engage, power is always instantaneous. Multiple tooth engagement provides a greater surface area to distribute load to improve both durability and speed. The angle of the pawls was even optimized to distribute stress away from the rotating bearings. Beyond the strength and speed of engagement, M-pulse hubs feature adjustable preload, allowing a tremendous decrease in drag for less resistance and more speed.

Rural Delivery
If your shipping address is classified as a "rural delivery" (RD) address you are required to select the rural delivery shipping option at checkout. Please note that if your address is rural delivery and the incorrect shipping option is selected, your order will not ship until the additional fee for rural delivery has been received. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the appropriate delivery option is selected to avoid any delays to an order. If you are unsure whether your address is classified as a rural delivery address, please check with your local postal service or contact us for assistance.
SHIPPING BIKES:
We do ship bikes! Every bike that is sold is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is at it's best operational order when it reaches you. If your bike needs to be freighted to you, it will then be boxed with factory-level care and precision to ensure minimal risk and assembly when it arrives.
All bikes that are shipped will be partially disassembled to fit within courier size constraints. We always endeavour to reduce the complexity and amount of re-assembly possible; however, we always recommend you have the bike reassembled or inspected by a qualified bicycle mechanic before riding.
DELIVERY FAQ'S
How long does delivery typically take?
Delivery times are generally 3-5 working days on average; however, please allow an extra 1-2 working days for Rural delivery. Note that this is not a guarantee, but an observational quote based on typical delivery times. We often see faster delivery, and rarely see longer wait times unless:
- You have ordered a bike. Every bike that we sell and ship in a box is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is it's best operational order when it reaches you. Please allow for an additional 2-3 working days while this takes place. In the case of an e-Bike, please allow for a further working day as we organise Dangerous Goods shippment.
- Your order is a custom order (not-in-stock or standard stocked items) that has to be specifically ordered from suppliers - we will do our best to communicate any potential delays.
- If your order requires customisation or additional labour (eg. customising handle bars, changing of parts on a bike, etc.)
- During peak seasons or public holidays, delivery times can be extended due to courier demand and delay.
- Please note that there may be delays in receiving your online order from 24th December until the 11th of January, due to limited courier runs.
What if there is a delay extending beyond the quoted time?
Please be aware that our control is limited once it has been handed to the courier. Once you get a tracking number, the job is booked with the courier and it is in their hands, not ours, so please be aware of the following:
- Couriers have their own specified policy regarding time frames, delays, damage and logging inquiries for lost goods.
- If goods are damaged in transit, the issue needs to be logged directly with the courier company.
Based on this, we always recommend calling the courier company first as sometimes it can be as simple as a lost courier card and the package being at your local depot. All these details will be in the tracking information emailed to you when your order was dispatched. By directly contacting the people handling your order, it reduces the chain of communication so all your questions can find answers in a faster and more accurate fashion.
If you are still having trouble or have any additional questions, feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to help.
