PERFECTION IN FORM AND FUNCTION – Get your move on
The compact design ensures an optimized mix of a saddle surface relief and plenty of freedom of movement on the saddle. This relieves strain on your body, even when pedaling at full power.
BEST RELIEF ON ALL ROUTES – Ride where you want
The padding and shape of the SR Allroad are perfectly adapted to the requirements of allroad and gravel discipline – offering optimum relief, generous legroom and maximum performance on any road surface.
PERFORMANCE AND COMFORT – Shock absorption of the extra class
Whether it's smooth tarmac or a bumpy gravel road – the thickness and shape of the ergonomic Orthopedic Comfort Foam is ideal for absorbing shocks and vibrations without impairing performance.
PRECISION FITTING MADE EASY – BMR line for optimal adjustment
On the SR Allroad, we have marked the Biomechanical Reference Line (BMR line) on the saddle surface. The BMR line describes the point at which the saddle is exactly 75 mm wide. The contact point of the sit bones is aligned with this BMR line. The BMR is an important reference point for the correct adjustment of the saddle height, saddle fore/aft and saddle angle. Also, in our Fitting Box Road Expert the BMR line is an important reference point as the most accurate measuring point for the perfect saddle adjustment.
MADE IN EUROPE – Sustainable quality with precision
The SR Allroad is completely Made in Europe! This means we can guarantee premium production processing and materials. European production aids in shorter delivery timelines to the retail environment, less waste and we can use the highly-developed European recycling system – which is good for the environment.
Targeted relief for better performance
Thanks to deep ergonomic relief channels and gender-specific shapes, sensitive areas are relieved. Numbness, pain and long-term damage are prevented. The shape of the saddle shell has been further adapted to your body. Our trusted Orthopedic Comfort Foam ensures that the SR Allroad is tightly tuned with performance-oriented damping on any surface. This means you stay in the saddle longer and perform at your best without any numbness or pain!
Freedom for movement
The shape of the SR Allroad saddle is designed for today’s gravel and allroad bike geometries. The lightweight, compact design featuring a shorter nose ensures maximum freedom of movement. It offers enough saddle surface to avoid discomfort while riding, but still enough legroom to pedal at full power. The saddle surface and shape support dynamic sitting and relief, especially on longer rides.
Men’s Health
The Ergon development team carried out intensive research on the topic of men’s health. They found that the main cause of complaints when cycling is the saddle. Often, men experience too much pressure on their perineal area leading to pain, discomfort, numbness and potentially more severe health problems. The SR Allroad Men’s saddle relieves this pressure with a very specific relief channel as well as better surface area distribution under the bony structures. Through MRT, CT analysis, many prototypes and test riders, we have ergonomically adjusted the saddle to the specific anatomy and needs of men.
More freedom of movement
Compared to women, the male pelvis tends to be less flexible. This means that men sit more upright on the saddle and put more of their weight distribution on their sit bones. Therefore the transition area between the rear of the saddle and the saddle nose can be kept narrow (Y-shape). This gives the legs more space to pedal.
Male and Female pelvic differences
In contrast to the female anatomy, the male sit bones are more narrow and where the two sides of the pelvis come together in the front is much higher. This results in more pressure being distributed on the male’s sit bones vs. a broader area of sit bones and pubic bones in women. We have taken this significant difference between male and female anatomy into consideration during saddle development.
For riders of all sizes
The SR Allroad Men is available in sizes S/M and M/L, allowing you to choose the right saddle for your sit bone distance and fully utilize the ergonomic benefits of the SR Allroad.
