The GE1 Evo is the evolution of the successful Ergon GE1. It was specifically developed for racing in the Enduro World Series. The first ergonomic, rider-oriented grip for wide rise bars with more comfort, a more precise grip feeling and better performance.
Ergonomic body position
The grip surface is designed to actively support the more aggressive, wider bar technical trail riding position. By turning 8 degrees to the handlebar axis, the elbows are automatically lifted outwards when gripping! This gives you maximum control at all times, even on the toughest Enduro tracks.
Precision
The GE1 Evo offers a precise gripping control due to its ergonomic shape and texture layout. This allows the rider to conserve energy that is normally wasted with a greater gripping force on a non ergonomic grip. Available in two diameters (Standard and Slim), suitable for different hand sizes and grip size preferences.
Maximum grip
The increase of gripping control is due to the specific texture layout and ergonomic shaping. Having the texture go against the gripping force prevents hand rotation and enhances control for both comfort and performance.
Optimal pressure distribution
The GE1 features an inboard, soft rubber, tear-drop shaping for the thumb area. The grip then flares out towards the oute edge to allow for more pressure distribution. The texture extends to the end of the grip and protects the pressure-sensitive ulnar nerve from being compressed. A better distribution of pressure in this area aids in preventing common nerve issues such as tingling, discomfort and numbness.
Inner Core Construction
The grip wall varies in thickness within the inner core. This provides a specific delivery of damping of vibrations in common highly sensitive zones. The GE1 Evo offers additional damping comfort in the far outer end with the fully integrated grip end. This creates a soft, cushioned grip edge.
EXCLUSIVE QUALITY – Grip rubber Made in Germany

Ergonomics, product design and engineering – all Made in Germany.
INNER CLAMP – Internal clamp
The internal aluminum clamp of the GE series leaves ample space for a wide gripping style.

Rural Delivery
If your shipping address is classified as a "rural delivery" (RD) address you are required to select the rural delivery shipping option at checkout. Please note that if your address is rural delivery and the incorrect shipping option is selected, your order will not ship until the additional fee for rural delivery has been received. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the appropriate delivery option is selected to avoid any delays to an order. If you are unsure whether your address is classified as a rural delivery address, please check with your local postal service or contact us for assistance.
SHIPPING BIKES:
We do ship bikes! Every bike that is sold is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is at it's best operational order when it reaches you. If your bike needs to be freighted to you, it will then be boxed with factory-level care and precision to ensure minimal risk and assembly when it arrives.
All bikes that are shipped will be partially disassembled to fit within courier size constraints. We always endeavour to reduce the complexity and amount of re-assembly possible; however, we always recommend you have the bike reassembled or inspected by a qualified bicycle mechanic before riding.
DELIVERY FAQ'S
How long does delivery typically take?
Delivery times are generally 3-5 working days on average; however, please allow an extra 1-2 working days for Rural delivery. Note that this is not a guarantee, but an observational quote based on typical delivery times. We often see faster delivery, and rarely see longer wait times unless:
- You have ordered a bike. Every bike that we sell and ship in a box is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is it's best operational order when it reaches you. Please allow for an additional 2-3 working days while this takes place. In the case of an e-Bike, please allow for a further working day as we organise Dangerous Goods shippment.
- Your order is a custom order (not-in-stock or standard stocked items) that has to be specifically ordered from suppliers - we will do our best to communicate any potential delays.
- If your order requires customisation or additional labour (eg. customising handle bars, changing of parts on a bike, etc.)
- During peak seasons or public holidays, delivery times can be extended due to courier demand and delay.
- Please note that there may be delays in receiving your online order from 24th December until the 11th of January, due to limited courier runs.
What if there is a delay extending beyond the quoted time?
Please be aware that our control is limited once it has been handed to the courier. Once you get a tracking number, the job is booked with the courier and it is in their hands, not ours, so please be aware of the following:
- Couriers have their own specified policy regarding time frames, delays, damage and logging inquiries for lost goods.
- If goods are damaged in transit, the issue needs to be logged directly with the courier company.
Based on this, we always recommend calling the courier company first as sometimes it can be as simple as a lost courier card and the package being at your local depot. All these details will be in the tracking information emailed to you when your order was dispatched. By directly contacting the people handling your order, it reduces the chain of communication so all your questions can find answers in a faster and more accurate fashion.
If you are still having trouble or have any additional questions, feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to help.
Can you ship to my PO Box?
