DIRETO XR-T is Elite's top of the range home trainer without sprocket cassette. Super-accurate, compatible with a wide range of bicycle models.

The OTS integrated power meter ensures +/-1.5% accuracy, which is one of DIRETO XR-T's strong suits, placing it atop Elite's home trainers range with the most realistic gradient simulation, up to 24%.

Integrated power meter to measure power output with accuracy

What makes the DIRETO XR and DIRETO XR-T the most accurate among Elite's home trainer range is the OTS (Optical Torque Sensor) integrated power meter. The power meter makes it possible to effectively measure power output on your workouts with +/-1,5% accuracy, one of the highest among commercially available home trainers.

Simulating the highest gradients

The DIRETO XR-T is an interactive home trainer, so it automatically adjusts resistance while you're working out. Compared to previous Direto models, the DIRETO XR-T features a bigger flywheel and simulates gradients up to an astounding 24%. This ensures excellent performances even during particularly intense training sessions - you'll be able the check out all your training charts at a glance, conduct tests to evaluate your fitness level, do reps and high-speed sprints at max power.

Use it with all indoor cycling software platforms

The DIRETO XR-T is totally interactive and communicates with all software platforms via ANT+™ FE-C and Bluetooth, just like all of Elite's direct transmission home trainers. Set your course or training programs with a few clicks and start pedaling right away. DIRETO XR-T will automatically adjust resistance and manage your training session. DIRETO XR-T can be managed via the My E-Training software & app (12-month free subscription included) or other indoor cycling services, such as: Zwift, TrainerRoad, The Sufferfest, Bkool, Kinomap and many more.

Total compatibility

The DIRETO XR-T is one of the most compatible home trainers, perfect with both gravel, mountain and city bikes with 130-135x5mm quick release and 142x12mm thru-axle. Adapters to make it compatible with 135x10-12mm (cod. 10143036) and for rear 148x12mm Boost hubs (cod.1014303) and Super Boost 157x12 mm (cod. 1014346) sold seperately.

Pedaling analysis

The Pedaling analysis is an innovative function that will analyze your power output throughout the whole pedaling movement through a 24 points-system. You can display via two types of charts DIRETO XR's data such as the value of immediate power output throughout the pedaling movement. This creates a thorough evaluation of the mechanical efficiency of the movement for the cyclist, so it's possible to adjust and correct where necessary. The pedaling analysis function is available for purchase in Elite's My E-Training software.

Cadence, Speed and Power Data

All Elite trainers rely on immediate transmission of power, speed and pedal cadence data in order to let you achieve the most specific and accurate training plan. To measure cadence, our trainers make use of practical sensorless technology capable of detecting the pedaling rate without having to install sensors on the bike frame. Most of our trainers measures pedal cadence by analyzing the speed variation, whereas our interactive trainers DIRETO XR, Direto X, Direto, Drivo and Drivo II measure cadence via power analysis by means of their innovative in-built power meter OTS.

Rural Delivery

If your shipping address is classified as a "rural delivery" (RD) address you are required to select the rural delivery shipping option at checkout. Please note that if your address is rural delivery and the incorrect shipping option is selected, your order will not ship until the additional fee for rural delivery has been received. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the appropriate delivery option is selected to avoid any delays to an order. If you are unsure whether your address is classified as a rural delivery address, please check with your local postal service or contact us for assistance.

SHIPPING BIKES:

We do ship bikes! Every bike that is sold is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is at it's best operational order when it reaches you. If your bike needs to be freighted to you, it will then be boxed with factory-level care and precision to ensure minimal risk and assembly when it arrives.

All bikes that are shipped will be partially disassembled to fit within courier size constraints. We always endeavour to reduce the complexity and amount of re-assembly possible; however, we always recommend you have the bike reassembled or inspected by a qualified bicycle mechanic before riding.

DELIVERY FAQ'S

How long does delivery typically take?
Delivery times are generally 3-5 working days on average; however, please allow an extra 1-2 working days for Rural delivery. Note that this is not a guarantee, but an observational quote based on typical delivery times. We often see faster delivery, and rarely see longer wait times unless:

  • You have ordered a bike. Every bike that we sell and ship in a box is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is it's best operational order when it reaches you. Please allow for an additional 2-3 working days while this takes place. In the case of an e-Bike, please allow for a further working day as we organise Dangerous Goods shippment.
  • Your order is a custom order (not-in-stock or standard stocked items) that has to be specifically ordered from suppliers - we will do our best to communicate any potential delays.
  • If your order requires customisation or additional labour (eg. customising handle bars, changing of parts on a bike, etc.)
  • During peak seasons or public holidays, delivery times can be extended due to courier demand and delay.
  • Please note that there may be delays in receiving your online order from 24th December until the 11th of January, due to limited courier runs.

What if there is a delay extending beyond the quoted time?

Please be aware that our control is limited once it has been handed to the courier. Once you get a tracking number, the job is booked with the courier and it is in their hands, not ours, so please be aware of the following:

  • Couriers have their own specified policy regarding time frames, delays, damage and logging inquiries for lost goods.
  • If goods are damaged in transit, the issue needs to be logged directly with the courier company.

Based on this, we always recommend calling the courier company first as sometimes it can be as simple as a lost courier card and the package being at your local depot. All these details will be in the tracking information emailed to you when your order was dispatched.  By directly contacting the people handling your order, it reduces the chain of communication so all your questions can find answers in a faster and more accurate fashion.

If you are still having trouble or have any additional questions, feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to help.

Can you ship to my PO Box?
