Barkeeper Tubeless Valves are the perfect choice for all tubeless set-ups:

✅ Compatible with all wheel brands, rim-shapes and tire inserts
✅ Made from ultra-lightweight and super strong 7075 series aluminium
✅ Easy installation with the 4mm Allen slot and included valve core tool

Description

This complete Barkeeper Valve kit is the best choice for all tubeless set-ups. The valves are easy to install and engineered to be 100% compatible with all wheel brands and types. CNC-machined from aerospace grade 7075 series aluminium, with an innovative 5-hole design for optimal airflow and full insert compatibility. The 4mm Allen key slot allows for easy assembly and removal of the valve. Temperature, UV, and ozone resistant. Works with all Presta-style floor and hand pumps.

In this kit:

  • 2 complete tubeless valves (including: black valve cores, ultralight valve caps, rubber bases, o-rings and lockrings)
  • 2 sets of alternative rubber bases, ensuring 100% compatibility
  • 2 additional spare black valve cores
  • 1 purple ultralight valve cap with integrated valve core tool

Installation

  1. Remove the valve cap, lockring and o-ring from the valve stem.
  2. Select the correct rubber base for your rim. Is your rim curved, use the circular rubber base and select the right width. Is your rim square; use the square rubber base. Make sure the base is slid all the way to the bottom of the valve before installation.
  3. Push the valve through the valve hole in the rim from the outside towards the center. Place the o-ring over the tip of the valve and slide down until it sits on the rim.
  4. Thread the lockring onto the valve and tighten it against the o-ring and the rim.
  5. Use a 4mm Allen Key in the base of the valve to hold it on the inside and push the base of the valve against the rim bed. At the same time tighten the lockring until it is hand tight. It is okay if the o-ring is squeezes out slightly, this indicates an airtight seal. Do not overtighten the lockring to avoid leaks.
  6. If you choose to ride with valve caps, choose either the 2 black ones or replace one with the purple valve cap with the core removal feature on your other wheel.

Easy installation and maintenance
The 4mm Allen key slot in the base of the Barkeeper Valves ensures easy installation and a leak-free tubeless set-up. The included valve cap with the integrated valve-core tool, enables fast installation and refill without the need for additional tools.

Aerospace grade 7075 aluminium
Barkeeper Valves are extremely light, and super strong. The use of 7075 series aluminium keeps rotational weight to a minimum, whilst achieving maximum performance, durability, and impact resistance.

Maximum compatibility
Barkeeper Valves come with 3 types of rubber bases, ensuring a leak-free seal with every rim shape. The 5-hole design ensures optimal airflow and sealant dispersion, even when used in combination with a tire insert.

Rural Delivery

If your shipping address is classified as a "rural delivery" (RD) address you are required to select the rural delivery shipping option at checkout. Please note that if your address is rural delivery and the incorrect shipping option is selected, your order will not ship until the additional fee for rural delivery has been received. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the appropriate delivery option is selected to avoid any delays to an order. If you are unsure whether your address is classified as a rural delivery address, please check with your local postal service or contact us for assistance.

SHIPPING BIKES:

We do ship bikes! Every bike that is sold is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is at it's best operational order when it reaches you. If your bike needs to be freighted to you, it will then be boxed with factory-level care and precision to ensure minimal risk and assembly when it arrives.

All bikes that are shipped will be partially disassembled to fit within courier size constraints. We always endeavour to reduce the complexity and amount of re-assembly possible; however, we always recommend you have the bike reassembled or inspected by a qualified bicycle mechanic before riding.

DELIVERY FAQ'S

How long does delivery typically take?
Delivery times are generally 3-5 working days on average; however, please allow an extra 1-2 working days for Rural delivery. Note that this is not a guarantee, but an observational quote based on typical delivery times. We often see faster delivery, and rarely see longer wait times unless:

  • You have ordered a bike. Every bike that we sell and ship in a box is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is it's best operational order when it reaches you. Please allow for an additional 2-3 working days while this takes place. In the case of an e-Bike, please allow for a further working day as we organise Dangerous Goods shippment.
  • Your order is a custom order (not-in-stock or standard stocked items) that has to be specifically ordered from suppliers - we will do our best to communicate any potential delays.
  • If your order requires customisation or additional labour (eg. customising handle bars, changing of parts on a bike, etc.)
  • During peak seasons or public holidays, delivery times can be extended due to courier demand and delay.
  • Please note that there may be delays in receiving your online order from 24th December until the 11th of January, due to limited courier runs.

What if there is a delay extending beyond the quoted time?

Please be aware that our control is limited once it has been handed to the courier. Once you get a tracking number, the job is booked with the courier and it is in their hands, not ours, so please be aware of the following:

  • Couriers have their own specified policy regarding time frames, delays, damage and logging inquiries for lost goods.
  • If goods are damaged in transit, the issue needs to be logged directly with the courier company.

Based on this, we always recommend calling the courier company first as sometimes it can be as simple as a lost courier card and the package being at your local depot. All these details will be in the tracking information emailed to you when your order was dispatched.  By directly contacting the people handling your order, it reduces the chain of communication so all your questions can find answers in a faster and more accurate fashion.

If you are still having trouble or have any additional questions, feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to help.
