DT SWISS - RWS REAR AXLES
One of the strongest wheel mounting systems around, the RWS Thru bolt has been proven reliable time and time again. This alloy axle RWS is available in 9mm fronts and 10mm rears. It is the perfect way to strengthen up and solidify an open drop out front fork and wheel combination as well as a standard drop out rear 135mm bike frame.
DT Swiss RWS Thru-bolt 12x142mm Conical Alloy Wheel Skewer: Ratchet Wheelmounting System (RWS), 100% Swiss made. Up to 50% more clamping force than a common quick release. Safe and easy to use: tighten up the system by turning the lever clockwise by hand as firm as possible (min. 15 Nm hand force). Multi-position lever with red, alloy release button for lever angle/clocking.
The 12x142 thru-bolts do not include nuts. These RWS skewers thread directly into the frame
DT SWISS RWS PLUG IN THRU-AXLES
The patented RWS wheel mounting system from DT Swiss is stiff, safe and user friendly. The Plug In version offers all advantages of a tool-free thru axle mounting. If you prefer the clean look of an leverless axle, just remove the lever unit and carry it in your backpack. If you choose to leave it at home, any standard 5 mm hex tool can be used in the axle. On the lever unit itself there is also a 5 mm hexagon mini tool - ideal to carry with you. Clean and smart: the RWS Plug In.
