CANNONDALE HOLLOWGRAM CRANK REMOVAL 2 PIECE EXTRACTION TOOL

Tool required to remove (but not to install) Hollowgram crankarms from the BB30 spindle. Shop-quality two-piece tool gently pulls arm using the spindle threads and outer crankarm threads.

To use, remove crank bolt and super-thin steel washer and thread in the smaller round piece into the BB30 spindle using an 8mm hex wrench. Then hand thread the bigger piece into clean outer crank threads until it bottoms out on the arm. Be sure the inner piece is not touching yet. Snug the outer piece using a box wrench. Using your 8mm wrench, slowly start to unthread the small piece until it starts pulling the arm off of the spindle. After the arm comes off, remove the little tool pieces and you're done!

Kit includes a two-piece Hollowgram crank extraction tool. You will need your own 8mm hex wrench to remove crankarms.
