SUPER RECORD 13 SPEED FRONT DERAILLEUR

The new Super Record 13 front derailleur has been completely redesigned, like every groupset component, to guarantee top-level performance in terms of shifting speed and precision. The renewed design and updated components ensure smooth, efficient and reliable shifting. The high-precision motor ensures rapid, progressive chain movement, even under high pedal pressure, making transitions between chainrings immediate and silent. 

The engineering design managed to achieve a significant weight reduction thanks to the use of high-quality materials and a new construction geometry. The carbon fork and its interaction system with the derailleur body ensures the use of a wide range of chainrings, from the super compact 45/29 configuration up to 55/39, ensuring full compatibility with all seven available gear combinations. 

The system is powered by a front-mounted battery capable of a battery life of up to 750 km on paved roads — a figure confirmed by tests conducted during the training camps of the Team World Tour Cofidis. 

The batteries may be recharged directly on the bike or separately once removed. Thanks to the Quick-Snap magnetic ports, the cable is automatically positioned in the correct place. The system is compatible with any USB-C socket, using the supplied cable. 

The smart batteries also ensure recharging via smartphone (equipped with a USB-C port), which can be used as a charging powerbank in emergency situations. 

Thanks to the ultra-fast recharging mode, a full recharge can be obtained in 60 minutes, while 90% of the charge is reached in just 45 minutes. In case of need, a 10-minute recharge is enough to guarantee a range of approximately 100 km. 

The battery status can be monitored directly on the derailleur, thanks to an integrated LED, or via the dedicated MyCampy app or compatible bike computer. 

Another technical detail concerns the forward positioning of the battery: placed in the front part of the derailleur body, it provides more free space near the seat tube, thus allowing the mounting of tires with a wider section — a growing trend also in the high-performance road bike segment.  

In line with the stylistic excellence of the Campagnolo tradition, the design of the Super Record groupset achieved the integration of the linkage arm into the upper carbon fibre body. The graphics, made directly from the mould or laser engraved, enhance the minimal nature of the shapes and underline the quality of the materials used.

The new SUPER RECORD 13 front derailleur represents a perfect synthesis between technology, performance and versatility, and has been designed to meet the needs of modern high-level cycling.
