ABOUT US
Bossi Bicycles is a Sydney-based company making exclusively titanium frames, carbon wheelsets and forks, and a range of small titanium parts.
We pride ourselves on making bikes for the real world. Some brands pursue lighter, faster, stiffer, more aero. We pursue better.
Our philosophy: "Bikes that are optimised but not compromised, bikes that are light weight but durable, bikes that have refined stiffness for driveability but flex for comfort and character. As the old saying goes ‘the best bike is the one you enjoy riding the most’ and that’s what we aim to create."
The Grit SX is a complete overhaul of its predecessor with a raft of new features and reworked geometry. We have loaded the SX with everything that we'd want from a gravel/adventure bike in a package that is both tighter and more focused than the original Grit.

FRAMESET HIGHLIGHTS
The SX now features our fully internal routed T47 bottom bracket. T47 combines the efficiency of larger bearings with maintenance-friendly threads and compatibility with all axle diameters.
We’ve added a 3rd bidon mount on the underside of the down tube and an adjustable bidon position on the seat tube to accommodate for 1L bottles – a helpful inclusion for any bikepacking excursion.
The new 6-axis CNC yoke on the drive side chainstay is the cornerstone of the rear triangle redesign; it allows us to increase both tyre and chainring clearance, reduce chainstay length, and maintain internal cable routing.
We've made sure the Grit SX will carry you, and all of your bikepacking luggage. It's built for adventure. The new fork now features full recessed rack bolts for a cleaner profile, internal cable routing for dynamo hubs, and clearance for fenders.
Adding to its bikepacking pedigree, the frame features rack mounts on the front fork and rear stays, 3 bidon mounts, room for 1L bottles, chain keeper for swapping wheels, internal fork routing for a dynamo hub and full fender mounts front and rear.
GRAVEL TUNED GEOMETRY
This isn't one of those "re-designed from the ground up" cliches, we literally went front-to-back. The Grit SX manages the naturally conflicting elements of gravel bikes. Balancing large tyre clearance, slacker front end, precise handling, stiffness, liveliness, and a comfortable ride is no small task. We believe we've done it.
The front end has been completely reworked. We've lengthened the top tube to be optimised around shorter stems and wider bars. That has the added benefit of reducing toe overlap - particularly important for running big tyres.
The heart of the changes is the fork’s new ‘flip chip’. Bust out the hex keys and you can transform the Grit SX from sensible to shred mode. The default 52mm offset results in less trail - a more road-biased setting with faster steering.
A few minutes on the tools and you can switch to a rowdy 47 mm offset which increases trail, providing more stability but introduces more wheel flop. Helpful when navigating tight and technical terrain.
Shorter chainstays mean more direct drive and a shorter wheelbase which keeps the package feeling tight and responsive. The headtube has been lowered for a slightly more aggressive stance, balancing more weight on the bars for more feel and control.

Rural Delivery
If your shipping address is classified as a "rural delivery" (RD) address you are required to select the rural delivery shipping option at checkout. Please note that if your address is rural delivery and the incorrect shipping option is selected, your order will not ship until the additional fee for rural delivery has been received. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the appropriate delivery option is selected to avoid any delays to an order. If you are unsure whether your address is classified as a rural delivery address, please check with your local postal service or contact us for assistance.
SHIPPING BIKES:
We do ship bikes! Every bike that is sold is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is at it's best operational order when it reaches you. If your bike needs to be freighted to you, it will then be boxed with factory-level care and precision to ensure minimal risk and assembly when it arrives.
All bikes that are shipped will be partially disassembled to fit within courier size constraints. We always endeavour to reduce the complexity and amount of re-assembly possible; however, we always recommend you have the bike reassembled or inspected by a qualified bicycle mechanic before riding.
DELIVERY FAQ'S
How long does delivery typically take?
Delivery times are generally 3-5 working days on average; however, please allow an extra 1-2 working days for Rural delivery. Note that this is not a guarantee, but an observational quote based on typical delivery times. We often see faster delivery, and rarely see longer wait times unless:
- You have ordered a bike. Every bike that we sell and ship in a box is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is it's best operational order when it reaches you. Please allow for an additional 2-3 working days while this takes place. In the case of an e-Bike, please allow for a further working day as we organise Dangerous Goods shippment.
- Your order is a custom order (not-in-stock or standard stocked items) that has to be specifically ordered from suppliers - we will do our best to communicate any potential delays.
- If your order requires customisation or additional labour (eg. customising handle bars, changing of parts on a bike, etc.)
- During peak seasons or public holidays, delivery times can be extended due to courier demand and delay.
- Please note that there may be delays in receiving your online order from 24th December until the 11th of January, due to limited courier runs.
What if there is a delay extending beyond the quoted time?
Please be aware that our control is limited once it has been handed to the courier. Once you get a tracking number, the job is booked with the courier and it is in their hands, not ours, so please be aware of the following:
- Couriers have their own specified policy regarding time frames, delays, damage and logging inquiries for lost goods.
- If goods are damaged in transit, the issue needs to be logged directly with the courier company.
Based on this, we always recommend calling the courier company first as sometimes it can be as simple as a lost courier card and the package being at your local depot. All these details will be in the tracking information emailed to you when your order was dispatched. By directly contacting the people handling your order, it reduces the chain of communication so all your questions can find answers in a faster and more accurate fashion.
If you are still having trouble or have any additional questions, feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to help.
Can you ship to my PO Box?
Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes. Please provide us with a physical address.
