Apis Cap

Founded in Italy and producing caps since the 1960s, Apis has been part of the fabric of professional cycling for decades. Their caps have appeared under team helmets in the biggest races on the calendar, and the same construction still defines the range today.

Each cap is made in Italy from a classic 65% polyester / 35% cotton blend. The fabric strikes a practical balance: cotton for softness and comfort against the skin, polyester for durability, shape retention and quicker drying. It’s breathable enough for long summer rides, but with enough structure to sit neatly under a helmet without bunching.

The traditional four-panel construction and short stitched peak keep things functional. Flip the brim down for sun protection or road spray; flip it up for clear vision and airflow on climbs. An elasticated rear band gives a secure, one-size fit that works for most head shapes without feeling tight.

Available in vintage team graphics and clean, understated colourways, Apis caps carry the look of classic road racing without feeling like costume. They’re simple, well-made pieces of kit — the kind you throw in a jersey pocket, wear under a helmet year-round, and keep for seasons.
