CERVELO CALEDONIA-5 RIVAL ETAP AXS DISC ROAD BIKE 2022

The Cervelo Caledonia-5 Rival eTap AXS Disc Road Bike is made for devouring long rides on less-than-perfect road surfaces, making it a great choice for use in the UK.

Despite still being considered a race bike by Cervelo, it offers 34mm tyre clearance, hidden mudguard mounts and slightly more relaxed geometry for better all-day performance. The carbon frame has also been designed for decent compliance to reduce road vibrations whilst still offering excellent power transfer thanks to the stiff bottom bracket and head tube.

Making SRAM’s wireless shifting more accessible price-wise, the Rival groupset works on exactly the same principle as the RED and Force versions, ensuring superb shifting across the 12-speed cassette at just a click of a lever. Hydraulic disc brakes and shallow rimmed DT Swiss wheels cement this bike’s all-weather usability. The hoses are fully concealed within the handlebar, stem and frame for improved aerodynamics and very clean aesthetics.
