3001 LLU MAX BO - Black-Oxide Coated, MAX Design, ABEC-3, Double-Row, Radial Bearing (C3 Clearance) 11mm x 26mm x 12mm -

Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX type bearings over 20 years ago for bicycles to address the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. MAX-type bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings by utilizing a special design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing, via a custom ground slot in the races. The additional balls, combined with deep race grooves in these bearings providing greater lateral support for the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This MAX-type, Double-Row, Black-Oxide, ABEC-3 bearing features deep-groove design races, with Grade 10 balls and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals for maximum protection against the elements, while keeping the 90% fill of Almagard extra high pressure grease inside. The double-row design greatly reduces flex in the suspension linkage while doubling the bearing contact area and the black-oxide coating provides an extra level of corrosion resistance and extended worry-free performance.

The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deepest groove races possible to accommodate the largest balls and feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro-groove creating a full labyrinth to provide superior protection against the elements.
