6902 LLU MAX-E MAX-Design, Extended Inner Race, ABEC-3, radial suspension bearing - 15mm x8mm x 7/10mm -
Enduro bearings pioneered MAX type bearings over 20 years ago for bicycles to address the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. MAX-type bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings by utilizing a special design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing. The additional balls, combined with deep race grooves in these bearings provide greater lateral support for the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This ABEC-3 bearing features deep-groove design races, with Grade 10 balls and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals for maximum protection against the elements, while keeping the 90% fill of Almagard extra high pressure grease inside. This bearing features an extended inner race that eliminates the need for extra spacers to connect suspension linkages.
Solid Lube
Solid-Lube bearings feature a unique solid, lubricant-infused polymer that replaces the grease inside of the bearing, eliminating any space for water or dirt to gather inside of the bearing. This MAX-type, ABEC-3 bearing features 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races paired with grade 10 Balls. Enduro engineers all of our radial bearings with deeper grooves to accommodate the largest balls possible, providing maximum bearing contact area and greatly increased bearing life.
Enduro Solid-Lube BBs carry a two year warranty against corrosion.
This bearing has been used as a suspension pivot bearing by a number of bicycle brands including Pivot.
The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deepest groove races possible to accommodate the largest balls possible and feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro-groove creating a full labyrinth to provide superior protection against the elements.
