When we introduced the first short-sleeve triathlon suit with a full zip for summer 2014, Castelli was a pioneer in the sport, changing the way triathletes dress and race. These days, hardly anyone races with anything other than a short-sleeve suit. Over the last decade, our iconic Sanremo has seen numerous modifications in fit, performance, and speed. We dare say that the latest version will once again set standards. In a sport where aerodynamics is key and every detail is optimized, you don't want to leave anything to chance on race day. The magic of the Free Sanremo 3 unfolds with the complete redesign of the sleeve and shoulder area. Hours of CFD analysis and testing in the wind tunnel revealed groundbreaking aero improvements specifically due to the engineered ribbed fabric on the sleeves and shoulders. The Forza2 Stretch fabric features a sophisticated debossed structure that has a positive impact on the airflow around the legs. But we don’t stop at aerodynamics. The new suit also supports you on the hottest of race days. Lightweight and breathable fabrics on the main body and an integrated ice pocket on the neck for ice cubes come in handy when you're facing Ali’I Drive in October, or any other race in the heat. Sanremo means the suit opens completely in the front for added ventilation on the run. The two back pockets hold plenty of nutrition. The Free Sanremo is like riding on a wave of success.
