Correctly installed cleats are noticeable from the first ride with the rider experiencing more power, more comfort, and more efficiency. The Ergon TP1 allows for the accurate adjustment of the three axis which are important when installing cleats: fore/aft position, the stance (Q-Factor), and foot angle. While pedaling, leg power is transformed over your feet into propulsion. Therefore the right position of the feet is of the utmost importance, as it determines performance and comfort. The TP1 is the first tool for the precise and easy adjustment of cycling cleats. It is used by many professional teams and bike-fitting specialists around the world.

Precise ergonomics
When cycling, the power of the legs is directly transferred through the pedals with each revolution. The placement of the pedals plays a decisive role in the power transfer efficiency. The ball of the foot must be positioned exactly above the axis of the pedal. Additionally, when viewing from directly in front of the rider or behind, the placement of the pedal should form a line from the axis of the pedal to the knee to the hip.
Three main orientations
The TP1 makes specifically orientating your cleats simple by following three basic adjustments. The first being the adjustment of the longitudinal orientation, next the Q-factor, and finally (excluding Speeedplay pedals) is the foot angle. All steps are explained in detail in the included manual and comprise the main guide to ergonomically positioning your cleats.
Comfort leads to performance
Many cyclists still believe that your feet cannot be both comfortable and produce the best possible power transmission. This is a misconception. The stiffest carbon sole is of little use if discomfort prevents maximum pressure on the pedal with every pedal stroke. The foot is a power center that can only develop its full power in an ideal, comfortable position.
No more burning feet
Our TP1 Cleat Tool effectively helps you to avoid incorrectly applied loads. Numb and burning feet are the most common complaints that can quickly take away the fun of cycling. A misaligned cleat placement can also be partly responsible for knee, hip or back pain.
COMPLETELY INDIVIDUAL – The right position for every cyclist
Not only is every foot different, every cycling shoe also has a slightly different design. No matter which shoe you choose, the TP1 allows you to customize the cleats to fit your specific needs.
SAVES TIME AND WORRY – New shoes fitted in a flash
Every cyclist knows that once you buy new cycling shoes, the cleats have to be precisely mounted. It’s very rare that done without any guidance, the fit is perfect on the first try. With the TP1 Cleat Tool you not only save time, but gain a pace of mind with a proper set up right away. This also allows you to easily transfer the fit from old shoes to the new ones.
THE CHOICE OF PROFESSIONALS – Bike fitters and top riders rely on the TP1
Not only do recreational riders appreciate the ease of using the TP1, professional teams and bike fitting specialists from all over the world have also relied on this tool for many years.
EASILY EXPLAINED – Our manual makes it easy for you
The included manual provides easy step by step instructions to find the ideal cleat placement. The TP1 fits all shoe sizes and is available for five different pedal systems.

Rural Delivery
If your shipping address is classified as a "rural delivery" (RD) address you are required to select the rural delivery shipping option at checkout. Please note that if your address is rural delivery and the incorrect shipping option is selected, your order will not ship until the additional fee for rural delivery has been received. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the appropriate delivery option is selected to avoid any delays to an order. If you are unsure whether your address is classified as a rural delivery address, please check with your local postal service or contact us for assistance.
SHIPPING BIKES:
We do ship bikes! Every bike that is sold is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is at it's best operational order when it reaches you. If your bike needs to be freighted to you, it will then be boxed with factory-level care and precision to ensure minimal risk and assembly when it arrives.
All bikes that are shipped will be partially disassembled to fit within courier size constraints. We always endeavour to reduce the complexity and amount of re-assembly possible; however, we always recommend you have the bike reassembled or inspected by a qualified bicycle mechanic before riding.
DELIVERY FAQ'S
How long does delivery typically take?
Delivery times are generally 3-5 working days on average; however, please allow an extra 1-2 working days for Rural delivery. Note that this is not a guarantee, but an observational quote based on typical delivery times. We often see faster delivery, and rarely see longer wait times unless:
- You have ordered a bike. Every bike that we sell and ship in a box is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is it's best operational order when it reaches you. Please allow for an additional 2-3 working days while this takes place. In the case of an e-Bike, please allow for a further working day as we organise Dangerous Goods shippment.
- Your order is a custom order (not-in-stock or standard stocked items) that has to be specifically ordered from suppliers - we will do our best to communicate any potential delays.
- If your order requires customisation or additional labour (eg. customising handle bars, changing of parts on a bike, etc.)
- During peak seasons or public holidays, delivery times can be extended due to courier demand and delay.
- Please note that there may be delays in receiving your online order from 24th December until the 11th of January, due to limited courier runs.
What if there is a delay extending beyond the quoted time?
Please be aware that our control is limited once it has been handed to the courier. Once you get a tracking number, the job is booked with the courier and it is in their hands, not ours, so please be aware of the following:
- Couriers have their own specified policy regarding time frames, delays, damage and logging inquiries for lost goods.
- If goods are damaged in transit, the issue needs to be logged directly with the courier company.
Based on this, we always recommend calling the courier company first as sometimes it can be as simple as a lost courier card and the package being at your local depot. All these details will be in the tracking information emailed to you when your order was dispatched. By directly contacting the people handling your order, it reduces the chain of communication so all your questions can find answers in a faster and more accurate fashion.
If you are still having trouble or have any additional questions, feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to help.
Can you ship to my PO Box?
