What makes the Vaypor different to the Vaypor S? Find out here.

The Vaypor Lace shares same length sizing as rest of Vaypor Series (Vaypor 2023 BOA, Vaypor S, Vaypor+, Helix, Zero+).

Following the success of the all-new Vaypor 2023, the Vaypor Lace represents our lightest model to date.

Built using the revamped and highly popular V23 platform, the Vaypor Lace takes comfort to the next level while delivering an ultralight package. At just 180 grams (based on size 42 shoe), the Vaypor Lace outperforms the competition across stiffness, comfort (Cobra9 innersole included) and weight!

Lace-up cycling shoes are perfect for the rider who wants ultimate control around lace tension – so they can dial in the fit precisely across the entire length of the foot. It’s also superlight which makes it very attractive for riders who want to save every gram and also have an even greater feeling of lightness in the pedal stroke.

Constructed using the highest quality carbon fiber from Toray of Japan, along with a lightweight Durolite upper, the Vaypor Lace is saves up to 40 grams (per pair, size 42) over the Vaypor 2023. For those looking to hunt that next KOM/QOM, the Vaypor Lace is the shoe of choice.

  • 100% carbon fiber construction utilising hand-laid unidirectional carbon from Toray of Japan and Bont Cycling's proprietary heat molding technology.
  • Ultralight and supportive Japanese Durolite upper for improved breathability, comfort and performance.
  • Comfortable honeycomb fabric liner with lightweight padding and anti-stretch mesh for a cool and comfortable fit across the entire day.
  • Industry-leading 3.6mm stack height (sole thickness) for a closer connection to the pedal, more rounded pedal strokes, improved stability and injury prevention.
  • Front and rear drainage vents for breathability and water clearance across all-weather conditions.
  • Innersole - Bont Cycling by Cobra9 innersole with carbon core and dual-density EVA.
  • Sole Guard - Replaceable heel guards with 316 marine grade stainless steel fittings.
  • Carbon steel cleat t-nut hardware for longlasting and hassle-free cleat installation and adjustment.
  • Two widths with improved foot suitability across different shapes and types: Standard and wide.
  • Cleat Mounting: Slotted 3-hole road pedal configuration with alignment grid and grip with increase cleat adjustment forward and rearward, when compared to a fixed hole system.
  • Bont Cycling lacing system includes two pairs of laces; durable waxed laces and ultralight race lace.
  • Weight - 180 grams (weighed, based on size 42 shoe).

Rural Delivery

If your shipping address is classified as a "rural delivery" (RD) address you are required to select the rural delivery shipping option at checkout. Please note that if your address is rural delivery and the incorrect shipping option is selected, your order will not ship until the additional fee for rural delivery has been received. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the appropriate delivery option is selected to avoid any delays to an order. If you are unsure whether your address is classified as a rural delivery address, please check with your local postal service or contact us for assistance.

SHIPPING BIKES:

We do ship bikes! Every bike that is sold is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is at it's best operational order when it reaches you. If your bike needs to be freighted to you, it will then be boxed with factory-level care and precision to ensure minimal risk and assembly when it arrives.

All bikes that are shipped will be partially disassembled to fit within courier size constraints. We always endeavour to reduce the complexity and amount of re-assembly possible; however, we always recommend you have the bike reassembled or inspected by a qualified bicycle mechanic before riding.

DELIVERY FAQ'S

How long does delivery typically take?
Delivery times are generally 3-5 working days on average; however, please allow an extra 1-2 working days for Rural delivery. Note that this is not a guarantee, but an observational quote based on typical delivery times. We often see faster delivery, and rarely see longer wait times unless:

  • You have ordered a bike. Every bike that we sell and ship in a box is first assembled, tuned, and tested to ensure it is it's best operational order when it reaches you. Please allow for an additional 2-3 working days while this takes place. In the case of an e-Bike, please allow for a further working day as we organise Dangerous Goods shippment.
  • Your order is a custom order (not-in-stock or standard stocked items) that has to be specifically ordered from suppliers - we will do our best to communicate any potential delays.
  • If your order requires customisation or additional labour (eg. customising handle bars, changing of parts on a bike, etc.)
  • During peak seasons or public holidays, delivery times can be extended due to courier demand and delay.
  • Please note that there may be delays in receiving your online order from 24th December until the 11th of January, due to limited courier runs.

What if there is a delay extending beyond the quoted time?

Please be aware that our control is limited once it has been handed to the courier. Once you get a tracking number, the job is booked with the courier and it is in their hands, not ours, so please be aware of the following:

  • Couriers have their own specified policy regarding time frames, delays, damage and logging inquiries for lost goods.
  • If goods are damaged in transit, the issue needs to be logged directly with the courier company.

Based on this, we always recommend calling the courier company first as sometimes it can be as simple as a lost courier card and the package being at your local depot. All these details will be in the tracking information emailed to you when your order was dispatched.  By directly contacting the people handling your order, it reduces the chain of communication so all your questions can find answers in a faster and more accurate fashion.

If you are still having trouble or have any additional questions, feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to help.
